When mixed and applied, the resin bonds the rubber pieces together, creating a smooth, cushioned, slip-resistant surface. It’s commonly used for pool decks, driveways, playgrounds, patios, gyms, and other indoor/outdoor areas requiring safety, comfort, and long-lasting performance.
What resin is used in rubber?
Most resin-rubber systems use aliphatic polyurethane resin as the binder.
This type of resin is preferred because it is:
UV-stable (won’t yellow in the sun)
Flexible, ideal for temperature changes
Extremely strong and weather-resistant
Long-lasting even under heavy traffic
Some low-grade products use aromatic resin, but it can discolor outdoors professional installers avoid it for UV-exposed surfaces.

How much maintenance does resin-rubber require?

How long does installation take?
Most residential projects can be completed within 1–2 days, depending on the size of the area and the condition of the base surface. The material cures quickly, allowing you to walk on it soon after installation.
